I had to watch a youtube video to figure out how the baby could get something out of the straw. He’d try and get frustrated so tried and nothing was coming out. You have to jam the straw into the rubbery straw with the strength of a thousand men and sometimes after you think you have it something happens and the straw isn’t working so you have to open it back up and jam the straw up again with all your strength to get it to have a clear path for water to flow. So far it does not leak. I wish…

Got these for my daughter because they worked so well for my so with no leaks (daughter likes to spill all her water on the floor). Well they must have changed the design at some point or the pink/purple ones are weird. Me and my husband both had a hard time sucking water through the straw. Once started it was a little easier but if you stopped at all then your right back to square one. My daughter sure can not suck water through the straw.

Not a fan. I let my 2yo try this and I did myself – couldn’t figure out how to get any liquid out so I returned them. Maybe it’s user error, but you have to try REALLY hard to get anything out of them.

I don’t know what it is about the straw but my little one can’t drink out of them. I even tried to so I could see if it was hard but I couldn’t get anything out of the straw

One of the cups was perfectly fine, but the other I gave to my son with water in it and he could not get anything to come out, so I tried and same. So I opened it up and made sure the straw was in place and everything was good. Kinda annoying, I threw it out.

These are difficult to assemble after you wash them and the straw needs to be just right in order for it to work, otherwise the straw will be pinched and no liquid will come out of the straw. The major positive is that we haven’t had any leaks.

We have 6 of these. I like them because it minimizes (some) clean up around the house. The straw however can be a bit wonky at first. It’s imperative the plastic straw is pushed all the way into the silicone straw piece in order to function properly. Otherwise you’ll be sucking with all your might to no avail. It’s also good to take a pointed utensil and poke the thin membrane that sits inside the silicone straw. We used a fork but I would think a chopstick or even a coffee stirrer would…

We got the straw cups, and you kinda have to jam the straw up past where it naturally stops to get it to work. At first, I couldn’t figure out how to get any liquid from the straw, but a friend of mine also had these and she told me she jams the bottom straw up into the flexible part and that works. We tried and it works great. My daughter loves these, and we have not had any leaking issues.
