This is a great cup and wonderful for babies/toddlers to practice suction with a straw. It does spill a little bit of liquid though, but if it’s full and baby is shaking it too hard. I started to give the cup half full and have been less spills, so it’s working well. I bought another one to give milk to baby as he never liked the bottle and he drinks from it even while he’s lying down.

Really hard for even an adult to suck out off
For some reason has a valve which I have made sure is open but which makes the cup not fit for purpose
I bought as my 9 month yr old daughter loves to drink out of my adult straw water bottle
Why does this have this stupid valve? So annoying! Returned

Our toddler took to this product very quickly. She finds it very easy to handle and has no problem with the straw. I love it because I’ve found most cups leak but this one doesn’t. It did take a bit of setting up & I can see why some reviewers think it doesn’t work. My hubby managed to sort it out but I think I would have struggled by myself, even with the instructions….hence 4 stars instead of 5.

This cup is definitely not perfect, but it’s the best training straw cup I’ve found for my daughter who is currently transitioning from a soft spouted sippy, and so still regularly tries to drink with it upside down. The weighted straw feature is the best designed I’ve seen. For that reason I’m giving it FOUR STARS, in its intended function as a training straw cup. If the weighted straw is a key feature you need in a sippy cup, then I’d…

Leaks so bad and in the most annoying way. It’s like some kind of vaccuum forms in the bottle so that milk or water is sucked up the straw and then slowly and somewhat secretly slips out of the straw. This is fine if you catch it right away but what usually happens is I discover a giant pile of liquid on the table because it’s been sitting there upright spewing milk out for a half hour. I love the weight straw on these bottles but absolutely HATE the leaking. Throwing all of ours away.
Triplet Reviews –
My 20-month-old triplets use different straw cups during the day, but for their milk before bed we use these. After 14 months of using them (in addition to a ton of other types of straw cups) and since we own 15 of the cups, I am an expert on these.
First the good –
-The weight makes the straw stay in the liquid, even if the child is reclined. When babies are learning to drink from them and tip the cups sideways or even upside down, they still work.
-They are fairly easy to drink from – there…

I don’t understand the rave reviews about this cup. Am I doing something wrong? First of all, this is a pain in the butt to wash (especially with no dishwasher). Tiny little parts with a tiny little brush with parts that never dry appropriately. Second, it is super difficult to get liquid through this straw. The directions say to massage the valve before use to open it up. I have been doing this for days and still have a very hard time getting liquid through this straw, as an adult! Not sure…

Dreadful product- my child is 1&1/2yrs and loves straw drink cups- but this one just allows him to pour water from the straw (he soaked my phone and the sofa in seconds!)
Also, the flip cover just pops off INCREDIBLY EASILY…it happened within moments of using it and seems unavoidable.
So…it pours all the water out and there’s no way of stopping it. Surely this defeats the point Munchkin??
